As the nights draw in, join the Central Band of the Royal British Legion, conducted by our new Musical Director, Steph Godwin, for an evening of uplifting music in the beautiful setting of St Mary's Church, Hampton.

This concert marks an exciting new chapter for the band, conducted by our new Musical Director, Steph Godwin. Steph brings fresh energy and ideas to the podium, and this is a wonderful opportunity to hear the band under her direction for the first time.

The programme has something for everyone.  Expect a night at the theatre with selections from Les Misérables; concert band features such as Malcolm Arnold's Scottish Dances and Appalachian Morning by Robert Sheldon; alongside rousing marches, much-loved classics from the movies such as The Greatest Showman and Star Wars; toe tapping swing numbers featuring soloists from the band and a few surprises to put a smile on your face.  As a concert band, we love to show off the full range of colours our woodwind, brass and percussion can create, from the gentle and lyrical to the big and bold.

St Mary's is a stunning setting for live music, and its warm acoustic makes it one of our favourite places to play. Whether you're a long-standing supporter or hearing us for the first time, we'd love to see you there, so bring family and friends and make an evening of it.
